Autumn networking meetings success!

Our networking meetings (lunchtime on the second Wednesday of the month and breakfast meetings on the last Friday of the month) have got off to a flying start! 21 different business owners attended over the first two meetings including four business owners who hadn’t attended before.

At all our networking meetings, everyone has 3 minutes to talk about their business, then business cards/fliers are circulated. Questions can be asked and one to one conversations are possible once everyone has spoken.

At the September lunchtime meeting Caroline Pearce, from Audio Biographers took the Premium member slot and explained about her business which records people’s life stories. After chatting with the client (who tend to be more mature) for about 3 hours, she edits the recording and gives the finished version on a USB memory stick, presented in a tasteful long-lasting box.

In October, Visiting Angels gave an informative talk about things to think about if caring for an elderly neighbour or relative.

In November, Ali-Suss-Franksen from Forever Cinderella gave a demonstration on how wearing the right colour makes you feel more confident, especially if you’re wearing your Wow colour !
