Bringing people back to local business
It goes without saying that this year has been tough for many businesses and now more than ever they need to engage with the residents of Wheathampstead and neighbouring villages.
On Saturday 18 September 2021, Wheathampstead Parish Council hosted an event to bring people back to local businesses in the village, part funded by the European Regional Development Fund. The event included a market area on Rectory Meadow for businesses without fixed premises, as well as live music from brass band. the Hitchin Band.
Our mascot Billy The Bee toured around Wheathampstead to say hello!
